Training and developing show jumpers in Huissen
We are Sharon Severein and Alwin Berendsen. We ride the horses in our yard ourselves, every day. From young horse to competition horse, and if possible to international level.
Get in touchTwo riders, one yard in Huissen
Stal Severein is in Huissen, close to Arnhem. This is where Sharon Severein and Alwin Berendsen live and work. We both grew up among horses. Now we train young show jumpers and take them to competitions. We say honestly what we see, even when it is disappointing.
What can we do for your horse?
Training
We train show jumpers, bring them on and take them to competitions. Every horse gets the time it needs. And you hear honestly how it is going.
More about trainingHelp with selling
Would you like to sell your horse after training? We will help you with that. We have sold many horses through our network.
Get in touchOur goal: more horses at international level
We only take on horses we truly believe in. Is a horse not making progress? Then we tell you. We don’t ride horses just to send an invoice.
Sharon, Alwin and Lynn
Sharon and Alwin run the yard together, sometimes with help from an intern. Sharon rode for the KWPN team for many years. Alwin competes up to 1.40 metres. Their daughter Lynn competes internationally at 1.20 metres. In 2026 she and Hardousch won the Hartog competition for Children.
