Our approach

Who trains your horse?

Sharon and Alwin ride every horse in training here themselves. Sharon gained her experience at top yards such as Voorn and Glock. Alwin competes up to 1.40 metres. Because there are two of us, we also look at each other’s horses. That keeps us sharp.

Every horse gets the time it needs. Sometimes we work on one specific exercise, sometimes we keep it playful. Is a horse not making progress? Then you will hear it from us.

Who it is for

What kind of horse are we looking for?

Spirit and scope

We prefer to work with horses that are alert, jump well and have a good canter. With a horse like that, we can move up step by step.

Young horses and horses ready for the next step

Do you have a young horse that needs further development? Or a horse that needs to move up a level? We look at what each horse needs and make a plan together.

A horse we believe in

We take on horses we have a good feeling about and that have a chance to keep developing. That is good for the horse, for you and for us.

How we work

How we work, step by step

Introduction

You call or email us and we make an appointment. We look at your horse, discuss what you want to achieve and tell you honestly what we think is realistic.

A plan for your horse

Together we decide what your horse needs. For example further development, preparation for competitions or for a studbook test.

Ridden every day

Sharon or Alwin rides your horse. It is stabled here, so we see it every day.

Competing

Is your horse ready? Then we take it to competitions. Moving up step by step, to 1.40 metres if possible.

You stay informed

We keep you updated on how it is going, including after every competition. Also when things don’t go as hoped.

Help with selling

Would you like to sell your horse after training? We will help you with that. We have sold many horses through our network.

What can be achieved

How far can your horse go?

That depends on your horse. Alwin competes up to 1.40 metres, if a horse can handle it. Our goal is to bring more horses to international level.

A few results: Joie de Vigo RT was trained with us up to 1.30 metres and competed at the World Championships in Aachen this year. Lambada Shake AG became champion of the KWPN performance test, with 90 points. Kick me Promesse won the Gelderland Cup 2019.

I am very happy with how they handle the horses. They also always keep me properly informed about competitions and results. If there is no progress, you can trust them to tell you so.Ton van SantenBreeder and horse owner
